The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has extended its application period for 2017 for all students who did not apply for funding during 01 August 2016 to 30 November 2016 period to get an opportunity to apply.
The dates for application for the 50 public TVET colleges will open from 09 January 2017 and will close 14 February 2017. Applications for 26 public universities will open from 09 January 2017 and will close 20 January 2017.
The NSFAS calls on all students who missed the first application phase for 2016 and are in need of NSFAS financial support, to take advantage of this second opening and submit their applications.
The online system which was introduced early in 2016 allows students to apply directly to apply@NSFAS.org.za , and all paper applications can be posted to the following address:
