The Miss University of Johannesburg (UJ) Varsity Cup Competition 2017 is coming to an end with voting closing tomorrow morning at 09:00.
The winner will be announced live at Monday’s game when FNB WITS clashes with FNB UJ at the UJ stadium at 16:45,
Part of the gees of the tournament is the crowning of the overall Miss Varsity Cup which sees all the finalists from the participating campuses compete for the title.
Four nominees are remaining so far:
“I am very passionate about people and sports and I’ve entered Miss Varsity cup 2017 because of this passion I have as well as my pride in UJ “said Hlogi Phosoko, who is doing her honours in Human Resource management.Alexandra Haechler is a 3rd year graphic design student.“As a first year student it has been a blessing being part of prestigious event such as this, it has been a very joyful ride thus far,” said Yamkela Tengimfene, a first year student who is studying corporate communication.“This completion has inspired me to reach beyond a title more and for me it’s about adding to a legacy,”said Usiphile Mkhize.
