Zanele Leon was crowned Miss UJ Varsity Cup 2017 to take over as from April 2017.
Miss Varsity Cup has become part and parcel of the off-field entertainment that makes Varsity Cup such a huge success story.
Students have taken ownership of this entertaining and colourful competition, showing that beauty can mix with the ruggedness of rugby.
Each of the Varsity Cup and Varsity Shield universities determines their own winner, and all winners are taken to the final of the Varsity Cup and Varsity Shield competitions respectively, where the official Miss Varsity Cup 2017 winner was unveiled.
